"I can't really form an opinion yet
on the riots. All I can say is the French love a riot. They
need a revolution every 100 years, " laughs Z.
"They're good at it, it's in their blood and they're
not scared. Burn cars but don't steal vans," states Tennessee.
"That's sad," says Z gently with reference to Fortune
Drive.
"Why? Because they lost their equipment in the riots?"
asks Tennessee.
There seems and extremely long pause followed by laughter
from all three girls. Z apologises for the reaction whilst
Tennessee's cheese sandwich seems to fall apart onto her lap,
causing her some concern.
"If someone cares enough to do that and if rioting is
your only option and you have nothing else, then why not?"
asks Z. "I don't know. It's so rare that anything like
that happens in America. Maybe there's no fire in the blood."
The debut album may come out in February just in time for
Valentines Day.
"It could come with a card," begins Tennessee. "With
love, The like."
It takes everyone a few seconds to catch on. Though with a
strong belief that Valentines day is perhaps more beneficial
to a certain card manufacturer, Z may have other plans. A
whisper in her ear from Charlotte calms her and the girls
snigger. They're still happy when queried about tonight's
gig.
"More and more people come to see us each time we're
in Northampton," laughs Tennessee. "First one, now
two. If we keep squaring it, maybe we'll get sixteen."
