Geneva
Within minutes of finishing their gig at the Roadmenders in Northampton and their latest tour we were invited for a post gig interview with the Scottish band.

"The audience was the best," declares Andrew. "A lot of people were coming to the hotel and saying that it was a great audience here and they're absolutely mad for it."

The crowd often call for an encore and nearly all the time they get it. It's a wonder the floor can take it. So let's compare. What was the first Geneva gig like, with the line up now?

"We first started out in Aberdeen and we were called Sunfish at that point," states Andrew.

"It was really bizarre it was an Open Day at a college in Dundee," begins Keith. "There was a big music scene in Dundee, it was sort of lo-fi stuff. We did the gig and it was awful. We were due to play and our drummer called up from Birmingham to tell us he’d left and we had?" he turns to Andrew. "How long?"

"Two weeks and we were dead lucky," replies Andrew.

"Steve had known Douglas for a long, long time. He’s not just a drummer he can play anything, he could play your Dictaphone," claims Keith.

So Kevin, about your bass playing.

"Wait you called him Kevin," interrupts Andrew laughing? "You’re joking it's Keith. We did this American interview the other day, someone fucked up and they kept calling him Kevin. That’s a classic. They're going to love that, that's a classic."

After the laughter in the room has died down a question is finally asked. Have you always played with your bass strap that low? >>
