"The London crowds
are a different audience as well," states Dan "They
are
also more critical possibly because it is London and that there's
so much
more to do that evening."
Miles is quick to add his thoughts. "Outside of London
you don't know what
to expect. It's great getting all this airplay but you do think
will anyone come and see us outside of London. So it's a big
surprise when two hundred
people turn up to watch you in Gloucester."
Finally how would they prefer the band to progress? It's a question
that
receives amusing but yet serious replies including have Lowgold
played on
the jukebox at the Queen Vic on Eastenders and replacing the
music for
Match of The Day's 'Goal Of The Month'.
"I think at this stage we need to not concern ourselves
with chart positioning but with establishing a fan base of people
that buy the same kind of records that we buy ourselves,"
admits Dan. "It would be nice to record a couple of albums
and then get a chance to record another one and then let it
build up like that, than have £15 million spent on marketing
us."
Only time will tell and whilst the band are eager to record
more albums,
most are just eager to hear the first.
