"I think we like
all our songs," begins Thomas. "They're all treated
the same. Some are better live. 'Time Out of Time' is a live
favourite and goes really well. We've drawn a line under the
tracks which are going on the compilations, but we’re
still tweaking some but I genuinely think from the sort of ten
that we gig, we like them all the way they are."
"I think on different nights, you will like different songs,"
states Deborah.
As both Darren and Thomas will explain the band has really just
started and with big hands they claim to have played a "handful"
of "fifteen to twenty gigs", mostly in London, with
the odd one in Brighton and Dublin. Did they make it back from
Dublin all right?
"Yes. There weren't any rock and roll moments," states
Thomas.
"We had a good night. Loads of people were snogging. Everyone
was drunk. It was really funny and they were lovely," says
a smiling Darren.
"They just got into it. Could be, because they were all
pissed," says Deborah laughing.
Surely the consumption of alcohol isn't needed to enjoy their
music?
"Don't say that Deborah," states Darren laughing loudly.
"No," she says raising her voice above our laughter.
"You don't need to drink to have a good time," she
continues whilst pointing at the dictaphone for emphasis.
"Don't go Mongo Jerry on us," replies her husband
Thomas. >> |
